Worldwide outsourcing has hit more
than $350 billion annually, according to business intelligence firm Cutting Edge
Information.
With at least seven outsourcing mega-deals worth more than an estimated $20
billion, IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing (BPO) are the fastest-growing
service lines in the financial services sector, according to Gartner.
Human resource “business process outsourcing” or HR BPO will remain
the fastest-growing segment of HR services, growing 20.8% in the United States
to $15.3 billion, according to IDC, a market research firm in Framingham, Mass.
