The Outsourcing Institute's
Outsourcing RoadShow 2004:
The ITO/BPO Connection

What is the RoadShow?
Four years ago, Outsourcing Institute members told us that with travel and consulting budgets down, they were looking for an event more convenient than the typical trade show or multi-day conference. They wanted an event program going beyond high-level trends, providing practical, tactical information they could use. They wanted to hear presentations from and network with peers – not be fending off hard vendor sells throughout an event. The Outsourcing RoadShow was born!

The RoadShow provides a cost-effective, time-efficient forum for serious outsourcing professionals to learn and network in a comfortable peer-to-peer setting.

How is the RoadShow different from other outsourcing events?
2004 will be the fourth year in production for the RoadShow, a unique workshop series for outsourcing buyers that has become our most popular program. Why is it so popular?

  • Convenient regional locations
  • One-day events fit into busy schedules
  • Practical, tactical programs
  • Small, interactive groups
  • Screened audience – buyers and influencers only (no service providers)

What’s new in 2004?
OI is particularly excited about the 2004 RoadShow program.

  • Keynote BPO pioneer Graham Kemp, on the ITO/BPO connection & the evolution of benefits-based contracting
  • Longer breakout sessions
  • Outsourcing Crossfire debate panel
  • Multi-track clinics – for both beginners and experts
  • New sessions on benchmarking & baselining strategies
  • New buyer case study presentations
